OVERVIEW OF POLICY
By using TwoZero and consenting to the information required, you hereby confirm your understanding of this Policy and your agreement with it. If you, however, disagree with our privacy practices as documented in this Policy, you may not use TwoZero.
DEFINITION OF KEY TERMS
The following bolded words have the meanings ascribed to them under this Policy:
INFORMATION COLLECTED AND ITS PURPOSE
We utilize – but do not store – the following categories of information when you use TwoZero:
When you contact us via our email address or through the “contact us” form on TwoZero, including the website and app, we will have access to your email address. However, we will only use your email address to respond to your inquiries. We do not store any email addresses on TwoZero or anywhere on our platform.
In order to provide our services, we will require your consent – through a pop-up notification – to access the photos that need classifying from your native camera or any synchronized third-party app. We will only use these photos to provide the purpose of TwoZero. No photos are uploaded or stored on TwoZero.
In order to sort or classify the selected photos based on location, we will request access to your map and location. You may also provide your location information by simply typing it when creating an album. We obtain your location information strictly by your permission and consent, and we do not store this information on TwoZero.
WHO HAS ACCESST TO PROVIDED INFORMATION?
We do not collect any personal information worth sharing. However, we may share your location information under these unlikely circumstances:
Access by any individual within the company
Applicable people within PMV Logic Ltd, including any employee tasked with privacy matters, or any support-providing employee may have access to your location information or email address.
Access by another company during a business transfer
In the unlikely event that we enter into a business transfer activity (such as a merger, sale of an asset, acquisition, or consolidation) with another company or entity, such a company may have access to TwoZero or any proprietary information therein.
Synchronized third-party apps
TwoZero may provide you with an option to synchronize certain third-party apps, such as Google Drive and Dropbox, in order to serve as optional storage for the classified photos. To synchronize these third-party apps with TwoZero, you may need to sign in to them via TwoZero. However, we do not have access to the login credentials on these third-party apps; hence our inability to store or share them.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
We care about your privacy; we do not collect any information we do not need. Any information collected from you is strictly needed to provide our services to you. If you reach out to us via our email address, we will only use the same email address to reply to you. Where we classify your photos, we rely on third-party apps, such as Dropbox and Google Drive, to perform such classification and store these photos. This means that any photos classified using TwoZero remain on your mobile device or any synced third-party apps, unless the user chooses to delete these files.
YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES
· Where we require you to provide us with any information, you have a choice not to provide us with such information. However, providing you with our services will practically be impossible if such information is not provided. For example, if you reject our request to access your location, we may not be able to provide you with a location-based classification of your photos.
· Where you have previously consented to our use of certain information, such as your location and access to your map, you may withdraw your consent at any time. You may withdraw your consent to access your location through your mobile device settings area.
· Where you believe Steven Moore & PMV Logic Ltd is not using personal information as described under this Policy, you reserve the right to report us to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) or any similar body if you are using TwoZero from locations outside of Canada.
Additional disclosures for users in the EU and EEA
For users within the EU, EEA, UK, and countries under the General Data Protection Regulation law (the “GDPR”), you have the following additional disclosures:
Steven Moore & PMV Logic Ltd is your data controller in relation to the personal information we obtain from you. We are a corporation located in Canada. When you provide the required information to us, we will use it in accordance with the requirements under the GDPR.
We rely on “consent” as our legal basis when you share your location information with us. We will never obtain access to your location and map unless you authorize it. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Additional disclosure for California users
If you are using TwoZero from the State of California, US, this section applies to you:
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know, access, and request the personal information we hold, shared, or sold about you in the past 12 calendar months. However, PMV Logic Ltd is not in the business of selling personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not collect any email address unless where you message us for support.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Steven Moore & PMV Logic Ltd may update and change any portion of this Policy, and such changes will be effective upon posting it. In the event that we make any major changes to this Policy or our privacy practices, we may display a notice through any part of TwoZero before such changes become effective. You are also required to frequently review this Policy to be aware of any new changes. By your continued use of TwoZero after any changes to this Policy, you confirm your acceptance of such changes.
If you have any questions, inquiries, issues, claims, feedback, or suggestions regarding this Policy, you may reach out to us via the “contact us” section or directly mailing us at email@example.com.
